Feature Preview: New Label Controls

New Feature in progress: More control over your labels

  • Place names & values on separate lines (saving horizontal space)!
  • Style names & values differently!

Below is a preview of some updated example diagrams, ‘Job Search’ and ‘Financial Results’:

Example sankey diagram describing a Job Search sequence with mock data.

The label style used in this image is new – the amount for each node is shown first, in bold, and the name of the node is on a second line using normal text.

In the diagram, an initial group of 17 job applications is shown narrowing to 4 first interviews, 2 second interviews, 2 offers, then 1 accepted offer.

The other unsuccessful paths are also shown, such as "9 Rejected" and "4 No Answer".
Example sankey diagram describing Financial Results for a company using mock data.

The label style used in this image is new – the name for each node is shown on one line using normal text, and the value of each node is shown on a second line using bold text.

In the diagram, 3 company divisions (A, B, and C) join their revenue amounts into a single "Revenue" node with a value of ,800, which is then split into Gross Profit (,000) and Cost of Sales (0).

The Gross Profit amount is further broken down into smaller components representing Expenses of various kinds until a remaining Net Profit of 0 is shown.
